Each year guild members volunteer their time and shops to build toys for kids. Hundreds of hours are committed to this project every year. Wood, wheels and other supplies are purchased from donations to the project. The finished toys are made available to ChildNet – Adopt an Angel Program for distribution to kids that otherwise would have nothing come Christmas morning.
The South Florida Woodworking Guild, founded in 1986, is a non-profit organization made up of professional and amateur woodworkers who wish to preserve a standard of excellence in the craft by sharing information, resources, and techniques.
