We will be having a Tool Auction during our May monthly meeting.
(In Person) Silent Auction Tool Sale rules:
- Bidder sheets will be distributed prior to the auction.
- All items for sale must be displayed accompanied with a completed bid sheet.
- At least 20% of the item sale price shall be paid to the club treasury (owner may elect to donate more).
- Owner may choose to donate to South Florida Woodworking Guild or the Gold Coast Woodturners.
- A starting price may be set.
- All items are sold in as-is condition. Interested buyer is responsible for asking any questions before bidding.
- Bidding will start at meeting start (7:00 PM) and will end at 8:00 PM.
- Bids may be made only in increments of multiples of $1, $5, or $10 (bidding sheet will denote increment).
- A 5-minute warning will be given before close of bidding.
- No items may be removed by a bidder until payment is made.
- Close of bidding will be announced and all bid sheets will be collected by auction committee persons and given to the payment collector.
- Cash, Zelle, personal checks, or Paypal payments (SFWG.ww86@gmail.com) will be accepted.
- Payment for items won must be made to the club on the day of the auction.
- Payment from the club to the original item owner will be made within 30 days of auction.
