Bring your unneeded tools and sell them at the event (during our normal meeting day/time). SFWG gets 20% of sale price. Minimum bids can be set. Open silent bid method will be used with a list at each item of bids and names. We will open the event to other clubs and woodworker members of the American Legion Post 321(our host)If bringing an item for sale, please try to come a couple of minutes early and bring a filled out Bid Sheet with the description. (If you can’t, no worries, we will have extras available for you).
Start gathering you unused tools now!Tool Sale Rules:
1. Bidder sheets will be distributed prior to the auction.2. All items must be displayed accompanied with a completed bidder sheet3. A minimum of 20% of the item’s sale price shall be paid to the club treasury.4. Owner may elect to donate 20%, 50% or 100% to the club as marked on the bidder sheet.5. A reserve price, below which bids will not be accepted, may be stated.6. Items are sold in as-is condition.7. Payment for items must be made to the club on the day of the auction.8. No items may be removed by a bidder until payment is made.9. Start of bidding and the duration of the bidding period will be announced.10. Bids may be made only in increments of multiples of $1.00.11. A 5 minute warning will be given before close of bidding.12. Close of bidding will be announced and all bid sheets will be collected by bid winner and given to the payment collector with payment.13. Payment from the club to the original item owner will be made within 30 days of auction.
